Napa Valley Vintners

•    Chardonnay is the most abundant white grape variety harvested in the Napa Valley at nearly 32,000 tons. They also grow Roussanne, Gruner Veltliner, Albarino....more than 30 different white varieties!
•    The average Napa Valley white wine vineyard is harvested at yields of 3 tons/acre to maximize quality -- less than half of the average yield in other parts of California.
•    Nearly 25% of the acreage in the Napa Valley is planted to white varieties.
•    Napa Valley rosés are produced from a wide selection of red grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Merlot, Pinot Noir and even Carignane.
