Wine, Age and Exercise

Posted on Sunday, April 03, 2011

My last post was about wine and food. So I feel a bit complled to comment that one should not over indulge in either. To assist in this endeavor, a quick exercise regime proposed.

Cardiovascular Exercise

The older we get the more important it is to incorporate exercise into our daily routine. This is necessary to maintain cardiovascular health and maintain muscle mass.

If you're over 50, you might want to take it easy at first, then do more repetitions as you become more proficient and build stamina. Warning: It may be too strenuous for some.

Always consult your doctor before starting any exercise program!

That's enough for the first day. Great job. Have a glass of Wine.

I've followed this advice for a number of years now. I must admit that while my vino intake is up.........I forget what I was going to say about exercise. This is clearly good advice. Everyone should follow it.
