Deep garnet in color, the Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is redolent of sweet tobacco, black raspberry, wet stone, and pomegranate, opens to cascades of sugar cookie, blackberry jam, minerals, and clove. The palate is rich and lively, layered with the flavors of dark muscovado sugar, dried rose, fresh cherries, cassis, and burnt sugar, supported by a firm structure and a long lingering finish of sweet fruit and subtle spices. Supple now, it will age well for a decade or more.
