Notes from the Winemaker: This is 96% Sangiovese and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon grown on the rocky, east facing hillside at Morningside Vineyards in Yountville. The 2008 vintage was small in size but powerful in expression of the varietal that we have produced to date. It will pair beautifully with a variety of dishes from pork loin to portobello mushroom and aged pecorino cheese.
