Notes from the Winemaker; Deep, dark red color with a ruby garnet hue. Layered, complex, fleshy, packed with blackberry and cassis notes that are beautifully enveloped by the robust oak level. Loads of black fruit flavors cover the palate, this wine is rich and full bodied, tannins are still firm yet have a velvet structure that shows plenty of polish. A lush wine that will improve for the next decade. 75% new French Oak, 25% used once. Wine spent 22 months in the barrels & 12 months in the bottle before being released.
