Tasting Notes: Pale rose color. Aromas of fresh wild strawberry, cherry, red currant, flowers and a hint of vanilla bean. It is surprisingly rich on the palate with full with flavors echoing the aromas. Refreshing acidity and very fine annins reveal themselves in the wines satisfying finish. On the nose, the 2007 displays aromas of cedar, tobacco, allspice and dark ripe fruits. The palate delivers flavors of black cherry, currant, dark chocolate which are framed by elegantly integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The lengthy finish has exhibits a marriage of dark fruits and french oak. A wine that looks to be one of the best yet from this outstanding spot.
