Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru 2013

Notes from the Winemaker: Located in the south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet is one of the five villages to which the Côte de Beaune owes its worldwide prestige. Domaine Bachelet family owned for few generations use the "Culture Raisonnée" (sustainable growing) with ploughing, leaf thinning and green harvesting. Grapes picked by hand and meticulously sorted. Settling, gentle pressing, temperature control. Nose is extremely complex, intense with notes of white flowers but also exoctic fruits. Balanced, it's ample and explodes with a huge persistence like it will never end.
