Notes from the Winemaker: Aromas of wild berries, red currant, and black cherry are spiced with cassis, cedary oak and a touch of clove. The rich, smooth palate follows with a dense core of ripe blackberry, cherry preserves, vanilla, and espresso. The long, persistent finish and mellow tannins make this wine extremely versatile in food pairings.
