Notes from the Winemaker: I was blown away by the quality of the 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc La Crau de Ma Mere and it’s a racy, yet textured beautiful notes of citrs oil, green herbs, and crushed rocks. The Alsatian Riesling of the sothern Rhone? Made from 40% Grenache Blanc, 30% Clairette and the balance Roussanne and Bourboulenc. I’d drink bottles over the 2-4 years, but this is one that will age as well.
