Notes from the Winemaker: The 2013 Kimmel Chardonnay comes from all-estate fruit of 30-year old vines selected from our Middle Block. It is 100% Chardonnay and fermented in both new- and used-French oak. This wine is bursting with baked pear, Meyer lemon, ripe apricot with hints of apple blossoms, honeysuckle, toffee and salted caramel. The palate offers a richness of toasted vanilla, hazelnut, crème fraiche and an incredibly long finish. Our Chardonnay has received numerous accolades over the years.
