Winemakers Notes:The 2009 growing season proved to be a great time to produce grapes in Napa Valley. Chardonnay was no exception. Our Aldin Chardonnay expresses wonderful structure while expressing the Chardonnay varietal to its fullest. The wine is fruit forward with pear and apple, including hints of nutty butterscotch. A creamy lees texture dances on the pallet. This wine is perfectly laced to express a bit of mineral and natural acidity without overshadowing the Chardonnay’s wonderful varietal characters. Our Aldin Chardonnay pairs well with food and can be enjoyed now and over the next few years.
