Notes from the Winemaker: The 2019 wine from the Fortuna Vineyard is Napa Valley at its best - a racy wine combining a fruit forward profile, met with layers and dimensions. This small production wine offers up a dark thick purple hue, matched with wonderful sweet notes of beautiful ripe dark fruit matched with integrated oak. On the palate, it has a opulent full-bodied finish paired with a tannic backbone. Year after year this is considered to be one of the best values in Napa.
