Notes from the Winemaker Crafted from declassified Macon-Chaintre fruit growing just outside the Pouilly-Fuisse appellation, Yannick Paquet's 2021 Domaine des Granges Macon-Villages is simply delicious. Aromas and flavors of Meyer lemon, red apple and Creamsicle pop from the first sip. A bit of swirling releases notes of chalk, yellow flowers, aged Gruyere and white pepper, all sitting atop a soft palate that finishes long with medium body and racy energy.
