Notes from the Winemaker: The 2020 Anomaly Cabernet Sauvignon reminds us immediately of the 2016: clean, precise, and classic. Notes of dark cherry, dried rose petals, violet candy, and playful hints of baking spice elevate the subtle and charming nose of the 2020. The wine acts every bit like a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, because it is just that. The tannins are incredibly fine grained and lend a solidness to the wine that suggests its potential cellar worthiness. The palate is delightfully complex, with red fruit and fresh baked pie notes that are framed by balanced acidity and a youthful structure.
