Tasting Notes: Foxen’s “Block Eight” is ideally situated on a steep south- facing slope, with the vineyard rows aligned north-to-south, providing maximum sunlight exposure to evenly ripen the fruit. The soil here is a shale and gravelly loam, which adds to the complexity and intensity of the flavors and facilitates excellent drainage.Sleek, rich and intense, this is marked by mouthwatering flavors, lively acidity and pleasantly complex earthy grapefruit, green apple, spice and floral scents.
